The Jaguar Mark 2 was in production from 1959 to 1967. One of the biggest improvements when comparing the Mark 2 to the Mark 1 Jaguar, its increase in cabin glass. This had a big impact on vision within the car improving the driver experience vastly and also gave it the Jaguar D-shape that is so recognisable today.
A new heating system was also introduced in the Mark 2, which included ducted warm air being blown into the rear as well as the front. A luxury in a car of that day.
The 2.4 litre model had undergone minor reshaping, including a slimmer bumper. Jaguar fitted over-riders. This all equated to this model being able to reach in excess of 100mph which in its time also resulted in a growth in its popularity. Comfort, ease to drive, and now speed. It was and still is a great car to own and enjoy.
